Account Executive - Acquisition
Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
- Business development in respect to IP Convergence, Structured Cabling and Life Safety in the Commercial and Healthcare markets.
- Develop and execute successfully a individual Strategic Business Plan, to organize, coordinate and focus sales efforts around successful acquisition of new customers in the Voice and Data and Life Safety disciplines with emphasis in Healthcare.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the development of Voice, Data and Life Safety sales through strategic efforts around existing and new clients as a result of effective lead development through internal and external liaisons to assure growth and customer satisfaction pertaining to IP Convergence, network services, wireless, integration server applications and Life Safety in the Commercial and Healthcare markets.
- Ability to have a comprehensive understanding of client technology and business goals, problems, applications and needs at the executive, departmental, and project levels and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and/or proposed solutions.
- Plan and participate in local marketing activities within agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales effort with other organized marketing activities (e.g. product launches, executive and technical briefings and advertising). Must be able to successfully manage all activities through Client Relationship Management Systems (CRM).
- Interface with various customers on both a business process level as well as a technical level and propose viable solutions during client presentations.
- Leverage relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors and partners.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales activity goals and quotas.
SKILLS:
- Proven track record in acquiring, developing and growing a successful port-folio of business in Voice, Data, Network and Life Safety services in the Commercial and Healthcare markets.
- Documented success in generating sales through the understanding of customer requirements (needs) and providing unique solutions that create a WIN-WIN partnership between our company and our clients.
- Strategic experience in acquiring, managing and growing accounts and selling “deep and wide into an organization.
- Proficient written and oral skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in current IP Convergence including server’s platforms (Linux, Microsoft) and ability to fully understand life safety and security applications.
- Will be required to successfully attain: Cisco Sales Expert and suitable Unified Communications certifications including other manufacturers sales certifications.
- Bachelor Degree and a minimum of five years of outside sales experience preferred.
