Project Manager
Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As an integral part of the Wiltec project team, the project manager will manages and coordinate all aspects of the job using planning, monitoring and controlling processes for assigned projects to ensure project’s profitability through effective resource utilization, technical and management support and process development.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Operations to define and understand the Scope of work for assigned Projects and develop Statements of Work, Work Breakdown Structures, Task Estimates and specific tasks and milestones to implement customer projects.
- Identify constraints (technical, schedule, resource, and budget) for each project assigned and provide workable resolutions to assist the project team including the customer.
- Manage the relationship with the customer and define and meet their expectations.
- Facilitate team and customer meetings and consistently communicate all pertinent information to Operations and Sales including the customer including timely and consistent feedback to the project team.
- Understand and be able to manage all pricing models and procedures in order to effectively manage each project’s budget.
- Monitor, control and communicate to WILTEC management the status of customer projects, with attention to resource utilization, project costs, risk-management, project profit margins, and the technical performance of the assigned team.
SKILLS:
- 5+ years experience in the field including supervision and at least 3 years of Project Management.
- Must exhibit managerial and technical leadership and have experience in team building, process improvement, conflict resolution and motivating people.
- Proven track record in project management coordinating efforts of system implementation with field system engineer teams.
- Formal training in Project Management methods and techniques.
- Must have strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor Degree required. PMP Certification desirable.
